There's actually a chart somewhere which lists which features each "DX12" GPU is capable of. It's also worth noting that there is NO GPU on the market today that supports everything DX12 allows for. I'm not sure you quite understand how the hardware and software ecosystem works so maybe use Wikipedia and other links to educate yourself a bit more.

Incorrect () HD 4000 is a 3rd generation part and only supports DX11. there are new features that need to be implemented in the hardware to support DX12, and the HD4000 does not have the features needed.įriend, my chip supports DirectX 11.2 that's why I'm complaining. You have to realize that DX12 support is more than jut software. The HD4000 was Intels first DX11 chip(it doesn't even support DX11.1).
